Q. Are they easy to make?
A. Yes. They take just five minutes of hands-on time and 30 minutes in the oven.

Q. How much does one package of mix make?
A. 1.8 pounds of product (up to 1500, 1/3” treats)

Q. What are the ingredients?
A. They’re totally natural! The mix is made of beef liver, flour, garlic, baking powder, and ginger. You add eggs, water and oil.

Q. How do I make them?
A. Here are the ingredients and instructions:
• 1 (13.38 oz) package BowWOWnies® mix
• 4 large eggs
• 1.5 cups water
• 1 teaspoon vegetable or olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease bottom of 11x17-inch
pan or line pan with parchment paper.
2. Combine BowWOWnies® mix, eggs, water and oil in large
bowl. Mix thoroughly. Spread in pan. Bake at 350° F for
20-25 minutes or until set.
3. Cool completely. Cut into squares.

Q. What is the shelf-life of BowWOWnies® mix?
A. The powdered mix comes in a re-sealable bag (which can also be used as a treat pouch) and will last approximately one year. Once prepared, BowWOWnies® treats will last approximately seven days in the refrigerator. We suggest freezing half a batch to use as needed.
NOTE: For a longer lasting treat, make twice-baked BowWOWnies® treats. Place the cut treats on a baking sheet and bake at 350° F for an additional 20-25 minutes or until crisp.

Q. Can I use a different sized baking pan?
A. Yes, if you don’t have an 11x17 pan, you can use smaller or larger sheet pans or jellyroll pans, just be sure to adjust your baking time accordingly. A larger pan will yield thinner treats and should be baked for less time and a smaller pan will yield thicker treats, which will require longer baking time. If you wish, you can bake the pan of treats, cut them out in fun shapes, and bake again. They make a great homemade gift for the dog or dog lover in your life.
